Farming

For four years, I’ve worked for urban farms in Los Angeles and Orange County as a hands-on field worker and more recently production manager. I’ve contributed to soil farms, hydroponic farms, and aquaponic farms growing more than 100 different fruits, vegetables, herbs, and wild edible weeds.

Mycology

As a member of the Los Angeles Mycological Society, I’m learning about the science and cultivation of edible mushrooms. I forage for wild mushrooms in Southern California, and I have successfully spawned multiple varieties of mushrooms via log and sawdust methods.

Beekeeping

I’ve apprenticed for private beekeepers, and I’m an active member of HoneyLove, a non-profit organization committed to treatment-free beekeeping in Los Angeles.
